Smoked Mackerel Pate in Lemon Cups

  1. Put the mackerel, butter, soured cream and lemon juice into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Add the seasoning to taste.
  3. Cut the tops from 6 lemons and carefully remove the flesh.
  4. Spoon the pate into the lemon shells.
  5. Top with the bay leaves.
  6. Chill.
