Appalachian Mountain Cobbler Recipe
- 1 c. Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 4 c. Fresh or possibly canned fruit or possibly berries, liquid removed
- 1 c. Fruit juice
- Mix till smooth the dry ingredients with the lowfat milk and vanilla.
- Heat butter in 8 x 10" baking pan.
- Pour batter over melted butter.
- Place over batter the fruit.
- Pour over the top, 1 c. fruit juice.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 mins.
- till light brown.
