Drunken Black Fruits
- 500 g raisins or 500 g sultanas
- 200 g dried dates
- 150 g dried figs
- 150 g prunes
- 300 ml port style fortified wine
- 300 ml semi sweet white wine like sauvignon blanc wine
- Cut up the bigger fruit to be about 3 x as big as a sultana.
- Put in saucepan with liquids and heat thru on very low heat for 30 mins or so to concentrate the flavours.
- Let it cool, refrigerate and wait a few days (if you can).
- Eat either in a crepe with icecream, or in a meringue with heavy cream.
