Maple Cardamom Spiced Milk
- 34 cup milk (I used almond)
- 1 regular tea bag (or other caffeine free tea)
- 18 teaspooon ground cardamom
- 18 teaspooon ground cinnamon
- 18 teaspooon ground nutmeg
- 18 teaspooon ground black pepper
- 18 teaspooon ground ginger
- 18 teaspooon ground allspice
- 12 tablespoon maple syrup
- Bring the milk to a simmer and remove from heat.
- I just heated in the microwave.
- Add the tea bag and steep for 6 minutes.
- Stir in ground spices and maple syrup.
- Remove tea bag.
- For the ground spices: Warm whole spices, separately, in a non-stick saute pan for a few minutes until fragrant.
- Use a mortar and pestle or spice grinder to crush until smooth.
