Sun Brewed Tea (Loose Tea Mix)

  1. This ice tea mix has a dark crisp taste with sweet and smoky undertones combined with small hints of citrus and currant.
  2. Earl grey tea increases the citrus flavor and kambaa estate tea gives it a malty currant flavor.
  3. Place 12 teaspoons of loose tea in Nylon Sock or use pantyhose.
  4. Tie nylon closed.
  5. There should be a lot of room for the tea leaves to expand.
  6. Place tea leaves sock in a lidded GLASS jar that will hold at least one gallon.
  7. I used and old x-large pickle jar.
  8. Fill the jar with water, and tighten the lid.
  9. Place the jar in a sunny spot outdoors, and allow the tea to brew for 4 to 8 hours.
  10. Remove tea leaves sock.
  11. Refrigerate.
