Mushroom Gruyere Gratin
- 1 1/2 c. grated Gruyere cheese
- 1 1/4 c. coarse fresh bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme
- 1 package sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
- 1 can artichoke hearts
- Preheat broiler.
- In medium bowl, combine Gruyere cheese, bread crumbs, and 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme.
- Heat 12-inch skillet on medium; add sliced mushrooms, water, 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Cook 5 to 6 minutes or until mushrooms brown, stirring.
- Add artichokes, quartered; cook 3 minutes or until golden, stirring.
- Arrange in skillet; top with cheese mixture.
- Broil, 6 inches from source of heat, 1 to 2 minutes or until golden.
