Amaretto Cafe for a Crowd
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 cup Amaretto
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 ounces espresso (shots)
- steamed milk
- 13 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate, grated
- In a heavy saucepan, combine finely chopped chocolates, sugars and half-and-half.
- Simmer over low heat until chocolate is melted and sugar is dissolved.
- Cool.
- Add amaretto and refrigerate until serving time.
- To serve, pour 1/4 of the mixture into each coffee cup.
- Add 1 shot espresso to each cup and fill with steamed milk.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
- Serve immediately.
