Mini Lasagna Bites
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 small onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cups Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup light ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Aged Grated Cheese
- 36 won ton wrappers
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
- Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in pasta sauce and basil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.
- Mix egg, ricotta, 1/2 cup shredded cheese and Parmesan until blended.
- Line each of 12 muffin pan cups with 2 won ton wrappers, overlapping edges as necessary to completely cover bottom and side of each cup.
- Spoon 1 Tbsp.
- cheese mixture into each prepared cup; top with 1 Tbsp.
- meat mixture.
- Cover with remaining won ton wrappers; press lightly into filling to secure.
- Top with layers of remaining ricotta mixture, meat mixture and shredded cheese.
- Bake 20 to 25 min.
- or until filling is heated through and won ton cups are crisp.
- Cool 5 min.
- before removing cups from muffin pans to serve.
