Chicken Teriyaki
- 1 (2 1/2-3 lb) whole chickens, cut up
- fresh ginger, grated (to taste)
- 12 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- Cut chicken into small pieces and place in pan.
- Grate fresh ginger over chicken.
- Mix soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture over chicken and marinate for 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Heat oven to 350*.
- Place chicken in broiler, cooking, turning, and basting several times for 1 hour.
