Molasses-Baked Beans

  1. Preheat the oven to 275F.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the bell pepper and onion, and saute them until they soften, 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Add the baked beans, molasses, brown sugar, Neelys Barbecue Sauce and Neelys Barbecue Seasoning to the skillet, and stir all the ingredients to combine.
  5. Transfer the bean mixture to a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  6. Add the meat, and stir well to combine.
  7. Cover the pan with aluminum foil, and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Allow the beans to cool slightly, then serve warm, as a side dish.
