Frangipane Flan

  1. Roll out pastry and line flan 8" dish.
  2. spread jam over pastry.
  3. cream butter and sugar.
  4. add eggs a little at a time.
  5. beat in almonds and extract.
  6. spread mixture over jam
  7. roll out remaining pastry into strips and place over mixture.
  8. bake 40-45 min at 190 degrees (375 farenheit).
