Steve's Meat Loaf
- 2 pounds ground beef, lean
- 1 each eggs
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup soup, cream of mushroom
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 13 cup marinara sauce
- 2 each garlic cloves minced
- 8 ounces soup, cream of mushroom
- 3 ounces mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Mix all ingredients together well, shape into loaf and put into a pan.
- If you use a roasting rack instead of a bread pan, the loaf will be less greasy and you can use some of the drippings to make the sauce.
- Bake 20 minutes uncovered at 425 degrees F.
- Turn down the oven to 375F (190C).
- and continue baking, uncovered, for 55 more minutes.
