K-Jon's White Rice
- 1 gallon water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 cups long grain rice
- In a 8 quart stock pot, bring a gallon of salted water to a rapid boil.
- Stir in gradually 4 cups of rice and boil for 14 minutes.
- Next drain and rinse in a metal screen colander.
- Now add 2 cups of water to stock pot and bring to boil.
- Now place colander over you steaming stock pot and cover for 5 minutes.
- It will serve up grain for grain.
