Hamburger Veggie Soup
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) tomato, undrained
- 1/2 tsp. basil, crumbled
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 4 cups hot water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1-1/3 cup celery, chopped
- 2 md. potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen vegetables
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 beef bouillion cubes
- Brown beef and stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to boil then reduce and simmer covered for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
