Pimento Cheese Spread
- 2 ounces, weight Pimento
- 8 ounces, weight Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 4 ounces, weight Grated Velveeta Cheese
- 2 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Moore's Or Dales Marinade Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
- 3/4 cups Good Mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 whole Green Onions, Chopped
- 5 strips Bacon
- Have all ingredients at room tempertaure.
- Cook bacon, drain and crumble.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Add more mayonnaise if necessary to achieve spreadable consistency.
- You can serve this in a hulled out tomato or as a sandwhich spread.
- I love this on toast, broiled till bubbly.
- Enjoy!
- Note: do not leave out the Moores/Dales marinade.
- It really makes this dish.
