Sue's Waikiki Meatballs
- 1 12 lbs ground beef
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3 tablespoons oatmeal or 10 crackers
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- salt & pepper
- 14 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (13 1/2 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained (keep syrup)
- 13 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- Mix together first 8 ingredients.
- Roll into meatballs, brown, and put aside.
- Mix cornstarch and brown sugar in bowl.
- Stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar, and soya sauce until smooth.
- Pour into electric skillet.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and thickens.
- Add meatballs and pineapple tidbits.
- Cook at 325F for 45 minutes.
