Make Your Own Meat Sauce!
- 300 grams Ground meat - beef and pork mix
- 1 large Onion
- 1 small Carrot
- 3 to 4 Fresh shiitake mushrooms (if you have them)
- 1 clove Garlic
- 100 ml Olive oil
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 can Canned cut tomatoes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
- Chop the onion and shiitake mushrooms.
- Finely chop the carrot.
- Cut the garlic clove in half and crush with the side of your knife.
- Take out the sprout in the middle.
- Put the step 1 vegetables and olive oil in a deep pan, and simmer-fry over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Mix from the bottom occasionally with a spatula.
- Add ground meat and mix well.
- Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Add the ingredients and cook over low heat for another 20 minutes.
- Stir occassionally with a spatula.
- Add the ingredients and adjust the seasoning.
- When the sauce has reduced and is shiny, it's done.
- Pour generously on top of pasta and enjoy!
