Banana foster bread pudding

  1. Lighty butter 10 by 14 inch pan
  2. Want to preheat oven at 350, I usually do that about an hour and half before we eat this so its still warm.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. after the butter melts add 1 cup of brown sugar and the cinnamon and stir until the sugar is disolved
  5. Add the bananas and cook both sides until soft and brown.
  6. then cut the bananas into half inch slices.
  7. Add the banana liqueur and stir to blend.
  8. carefully add the rum and tilt the pan to light the alcohol.
  9. shake back and forth to bast the bananas, until the flames die.
  10. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  11. Whisk together the eggs, remaining brown sugar, the cream, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  12. Combine the banana mixture, bread, and cream mixture together.
  13. make sure all the bread gets coated and all blends throughly.
  14. Pour it into the baking dish and bake in the oven 50 minutes to an hour or until firm.
  15. When done remove and let cool for 20 minutes at least.
  16. Can serve with ice cream and a caramel sauce.
