Baked Bulgur with Pecans
- 1 cup cracked wheat (bulgur) uncooked
- 1/2 teaspoon basil dried
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups water boiling
- 1/4 cup pecans chopped
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- Lightly oil a 1 quart baking dish or spray with a nonstick cooking spray.
- Place bulgur, basil, salt and pepper in prepared baking dish.
- Add boiling water and mix well.
- Cover tightly and bake 20 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork, add pecans, and mix well.
- Serve hot.
