Grilled Portabellas
- 2 Portabellas; cleaned with a damp cloth
- 2/3 cup balsamic vinaigrette
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 1 olive oil; as needed
- Marinate portabellas in balsamic vinaigrette for 1-2 hours.
- Coat mushrooms with enough oil to cover.
- Season with dried spices.
- Grill for a couple of minutes on each side while basting with the marinade.
- Variations; Worcestershire sauce, parsley, cilantro, vinegar, A1 sauce, H1 sauce, malt vinegar, gin, horseradish, roasted bell peppers or shallots, vegetable stock, flavored olive oils, hollandaise, chives
