Treasure Chest Tuna Melt Recipe
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce.) tuna, liquid removed & flaked
- 3/4 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. green onion slices
- 2 hard cooked Large eggs, minced
- 1/2 c. salad dressing
- 1 Italian bread loaf
- 8 ounce. Kraft sharp natural Cheddar cheese slices, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/2 c. minced tomato
- Combine tuna, celery, onions, Large eggs and salad dressing; mix lightly.
- Cut lengthwise slice from top of bread; remove center leaving 1 inch shell.
- Place half of cheese in shell; fill with tuna mix.
- Cover with tomato, remaining cheese and top bread slice.
- Wrap in foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- 6-8 servings.
