Heart Healthy Apple Oat Bread Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan with vegetable veg.
  3. oil.
  4. In large bowl mix oats and next 4 ingredients.
  5. In small bowl beat honey, lowfat milk, oil and egg whites till blended; stir into flour mix just till moistened (batter will be lumpy).
  6. Mix in apples.
  7. Spoon batter proportionately into loaf pan.
  8. Bake 65 min or possibly till a toothpick inserted in center of bread comes out clean.
  9. Cold in pan 10 min.
  10. Remove to wire rack.
  11. Make 1 loaf, about 210 calories per serving.
