Honey Oven Fried Chicken Recipe
- 1 lg. or possibly 2 sm. chickens, cut into pcs
- 1 1/2 c. honey
- 1/1 2 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
- 1 teaspoon dry thyme
- 1 teaspoon dry rosemary
- 1 1/2 tbsp. dry parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with foil.
- Pour in vegetable oil to 1/8 to 1/4 inch depth.
- Pour honey into flat dish.
- Combine crumbs, flour, herbs and spices in large bowl.
- Dip chicken pcs into honey, then roll in crumb mix.
- Arrange chicken pcs skin side up in prepared pan.
- Bake 45-55 min.
