Caramelized Oranges

  1. Peel and slice oranges into rounds removing all the white pith first.
  2. Place in a glass dish.
  3. Boil up the syrup until it thickens and is caramel coloured.
  4. Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves and pour over oranges.
  5. Chill and serve.
