Lasagna

  1. Boil noodles according to box, let sit in water but turn heat off
  2. Slice meatballs into small pieces
  3. Grind sausage by hand or in a processor
  4. Brown sausage in frying pan, let cool
  5. Assembly (pre-heat oven to 350 degrees)
  6. Use 9x13 baking dish.
  7. I prefer stoneware
  8. Spoon 3 to 4 tbs of sauce on bottom of pan
  9. Lay noodles slightly overlapping edges
  10. Spread ricotta cheese and meatball slices
  11. Add another layer sauce
  12. Add 2nd layer noodles overlapping edges
  13. Repeat steps 9 & 10 using browned sausage instead of meatballs in 1st layer.
  14. Add 3rd layer noodles slightly overlapped
  15. Cover with thin layer sauce
  16. Cover whole top with Mozzarella
  17. Bake 50 min at 350F
  18. IMPORTANT let rest at room temperature 3 hrs.
  19. Enjoy
