Honey Mustard Dressing Recipe
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/4 c. Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, peeled & chopped
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 c. rice vinegar
- 1 c. canola oil Or possibly light vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- In blender or possibly food processor combine honey, mustard, garlic, lemon juice and vinegar.
- Process till well-mixed, about 1 minute.
- With motor running, add in canola oil and sesame oil in a slow, steady stream, processing till dressing is smooth, with a creamy texture.
- Store covered in refrigerator.
- Flavor will improve if made several hrs before using.
- Makes about 1 1/2 c..
- If dressing becomes too thick, whisk in a couple Tbsp.
- water.
