Graham Wafer Cake
- 8 eggs
- 4 cups sugar
- 3 cups 2% milk
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 12 cups graham crumbs
- 4 cups toasted, chopped walnuts
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- Beat eggs and sugar until thick and lemon coloured.
- Add milk, butter and vanilla.
- Set aside.
- Combine all dry ingredients, mixing well.
- Add egg mixture and stir until well blended.
- Pour batter into a greased 20 x 12 inch pan and bake in convection oven at 325F for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
- Serve topped with custard if desired.
