Barragh Briegh (Welsh Bread)
- 1 cup golden raisin
- 1 cup currants
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup strong hot tea
- 1 egg
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- Mix first 4 ingredients together and leave in bowl overnight.
- Next day add egg and self-rising flour.
- Mix well.
- Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours at 350 .
- Slice when cooled and spread with butter.
