Spiral Ham Rolls
- 1 Basic bread dough
- 8 slice Ham
- 1 Mayonnaise
- Divide the dough into 8 portions.
- If you make your own dough, once you divide it, one portion should weigh about 60 g.
- Roll all the portions into balls, cover them with a tightly wrung out damp towel, and let them sit for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough so it's double the size of the ham slice, and then put the ham on top.
- Roll up the dough from the bottom.
- Once you are done rolling it, make sure to seal it tightly.
- With a scraper or a kitchen knife, cut it into three portions.
- Spread a paper cup or confectionery glassine cup, and stick the portions to it.
- Push down gently with your hands adjusting the height.
- Let the dough rise a second time.
- If you are doing the rising in your oven, keep an eye on them and remove them a little earlier than you normally would.
- Then preheat the oven to 190C.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, and right before you put them in the oven, top them with mayonnaise.
- Bake them for 12~13 minutes at 180C till done.
