Pizza Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- burger of choice
- 1 jar (1 lb.) favorite spaghetti sauce
- 1 box (1 lb.) rotini pasta
- 8 to 12 oz. mozzerella cheese shredded
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Cook pasta and drain.
- Brown burger and drain completely.
- Add sauce, season to taste, and cook.
- Add pasta to sauce.
- In round, greased casserole dish (I prefer to grease dish with extra virgin olive oil, it seems to make the meal taste even better!)
- put enough pasta/sauce mixture in bottom of dish to cover.
- Next, put a layer of shredded mozzerella cheese (you may add the Parmesan cheese here if you would like).
- Alternate these layers ending with a layer of Parmesan cheese on top.
- This may make 3-4 layers depending on how deep your dish is.
- Bake at 375F for 30-45 minutes depending on oven type.
- Bake until cheese is golden brown.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
