Traditional Eggnog
- 1 gallon milk
- 1 gallon heavy cream
- 2 cup bourbon
- 32 each egg yolks
- 1 1/2 tbsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 32 each egg whites
- 4 cup granulated sugar
- combine egg yolks and sugar untill smooth
- add milk, cream, vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon, and nutmeg
- beat egg whites with 3 tablespoons of sugar, until soft peaks.
- combine with the rest of the mix.
- serve chilled, garnish with cinnamon
