Black Bean Tortilla Melts Recipe
- 1 x (15 ounce) can black beans rinsed and liquid removed
- 1/2 tsp Chili pwdr
- 6 x (6-inch) corn tortillas
- 1/4 c. Chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 x Lime cut into six wedges
- 2 x (4 ounce) can minced green chiles, undrained
- 3/4 c. (3 ounce) shredded cheddar cheese
- Serves 6fresh or possibly commercial salsaMash beans; add in chili pwdr, stirring well.
- Spread about three Tbsp.
- bean mix on each tortilla.
- Sprinkle with cilantro, and squeeze 1 lime wedge over each.
- Top each tortilla with 2 Tbsp.
- green chiles and 2 Tbsp.
- cheese.
- Bake tortillas at 450 for 3 to 5 min or possibly till cheese melts.
- Serve with fresh salsa.
