Apple Pie Cranberry Sauce
- 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In a large saucepan, combine all of the ingredients with 1 cup water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat then reduce the heat to simmer, stirring occasionally, just until the cranberries burst, about 8 minutes.
- Transfer to a bowl and cool to room temperature.
