Veal In Sour Cream Recipe
- 2 lbs. veal cutlets, cut into cubes
- Butter to brown
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream (low fat)
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
- 1 tbsp. fresh chopped onion
- Brown veal in butter and place in a casserole.
- Cover.
- Add in 3 Tbsp.
- water to frying pan.
- Blend in flour, stir till smooth.
- Slowly add in lowfat sour cream, stirring constantly.
- When thick, add in seasonings and mushrooms that have been fried gently in butter.
- Pour over veal.
- Bake in very slow oven (300 to 325 degrees) for one hour.
