Honey Kinako Okra Cookies for Dieters
- 100 grams Fresh okara
- 70 grams Cake flour
- 20 grams Kinako
- 10 grams Crushed sesame seeds (this time I mixed together white and black)
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 30 grams Honey
- Mix together all the ingredients except for the honey in a bowl with your hands.
- The dough will become crumbly in your hands.
- Add the honey and mix together.
- Bring the dough together into one piece.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Form the dough into balls with your hands and arrange on a baking sheet lined with kitchen parchment paper.
- Using the palm of your hand, press on the balls to form a disc.
- Bake at 180C for 20~22 minutes and enjoy!
- If you eat these with plenty of liquid, you'll feel pretty full!
- Here's the whole wheat flour version!
- Change the flour to whole wheat flour plus a pinch of white sesame seeds if you want to try it out!
- Use whole wheat flour instead of regular flour for a chewier version!
- I recommend you try it.
- (The cookies in the picture use ground black sesame seeds!)
- It's a cookie tower!
- Even if you eat all of these, it'd still only be 150 calories!
- They'll make great snacks for people on diets if you store them in the refrigerator in small portions.
