Sweet and Crunchy Green Bean Casserole

  1. Sate onion in olive oil in a medium skillet until golden.
  2. Add flour, salt, Splenda and pepper to skillet.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  4. Mix in sour cream, cream cheese.
  5. While stirring constantly, add three-quarters of the grated swiss cheese a little bit at a time while steadily increasing the heat to medium.
  6. Pour drained beans into a prepared 9x13 baking dish.
  7. Pour cheese mixture over the beans and stir to combine.
  8. Top with remaining Swiss cheese.
  9. Cover and bake at 400-degrees for 15-minutes.
  10. Remove lid and sprinkle granola over casserole.
  11. Put back in oven for 5-6 minutes, uncovered.
  12. Remove and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
  13. Serve.
