vidalia onion casserole
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 medium onions sliced up
- 15 saltine crackers
- 1 can cream of celery or chicken
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheese
- Melt butter in small baking dish.
- Saute onions until cooked thoroughly.
- Crush crackers and save 3 tbsp of crushed crackers for the top.
- Place remaining crackers in the bottom of baker.
- Combine eggs and milk in seperate bowl.
- Place onions in baker and then cover with eggs and milk.
- Top with remaining crackers and cheese.
- Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
