Shirred Eggs with Bacon and Cheese

  1. Brush 6 ounce r amekins or oven safe dish with softened butter
  2. Preheat oven to 375
  3. Crack eggs into a seperate small cup and pour carefully into prepared buttered dish, so that eggs sit side by side.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Place dish on.
  6. a baking sheet
  7. Bake 10. minutes until just beginning tro set and is turning opaque.
  8. Remove from the oven and top with cream, cheese and chives.
  9. Return to oven and cook until eggs are just set ut yolks soft.
  10. About 10 minutes.
  11. Garnish with bacon strips
  12. Serve immediately as eggs will continue to cook while sitting.
  13. Great served with Cheese Straws for dipping
