Beef Tips In Burgundy Sauce Recipe
- 2 1/2 lb Beef sirloin
- 6 slc Bacon
- 2 med Onion, minced
- 1 clv garlic, chopped
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms, fresh, minced
- 1 can Beef broth
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1 1/2 c. Wine, burgundy
- 1 Tbsp. Parsley
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 3 x Bay leaf
- 1/4 c. Water
- 1/4 c. Flour
- Cook bacon till crisp.
- Drain and set aside.
- Brown meat.
- Add in onions, garlic and mushrooms during last few min of browning meat.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add in remaining ingredients except water and flour.
- Cover and cook in 300 degree oven for 2 hrs.
- Check and add in water if needed.
- Remove Bay leaves when finished.
- Combine water and flour.
- Slowly add in into mix.
- Heat to boiling.
- Serve over noodles or possibly mashed potatoes.
