Chicken Casserole Chinese Style Recipe
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 3 c. minced celery
- 1 c. mushrooms or possibly 1 (8 ounce.) can, liquid removed
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. broken cashew nuts
- 2 c. cooked chicken
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1 (4 ounce.) can chow mein noodles
- Heat butter.
- Add in onion and celery.
- Cook 10 min or possibly till tender.
- Add in rest of ingredients, except for the nuts and 1/2 c. chow mein noodles.
- Put in greased casserole.
- Sprinkle with nuts and 1/2 c. chow mein noodles.
- Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 min.
- You can also use turkey, veal or possibly any left over meat.
