Beef In Cheese Crescents
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 - 8 oz. cans crescent dinner rolls
- 2 tsp. sesame seeds, optional
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Brown beef with onion, drain.
- Stir in barbecue sauce, set aside.
- Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Overlap long sides; firmly press perforations and edges to seal.
- Form a 15 x 13 inch rectangle. Spread meat mixture lengthwise in a 4 inch wide strip, down center of dough to with in one inch of ends.
- Top with cheese.
- Fold shorter sides of dough 1 inch over filling.
- Bring long sides of dough over filling, over lapping edges; pinch edges to seal. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20- 25 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Serves 6.
