Turkey Bran Burgers!?!
- 1 cup all-bran cereal, kellogg's original
- 12 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, preferably Lea and Perrins
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- Combine cereal, onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and egg white.
- Let stand until cereal softens (approximately 3-4 minutes).
- Gently stir in ground turkey and portion mixture into six patties; over-mixing will toughen the meat.
- Grill, broil, or pan fry about 4 minutes on each side or until browned and no longer pink (170 F).
