Chicken And Biscuit Casserole
- 8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 2 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, cooked and drained
- 1 c. chopped tomato
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. milk to mix with soup
- 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 2/3 c. milk to mix with Bisquick
- 1 can fried onions (Durkee)
- In a greased 8 x 12-inch baking pan, mix bacon, chicken, vegetables, tomatoes and 2/3 cup grated cheese.
- Blend soup and milk; pour over ingredients in pan and stir.
- Cover and bake at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 350u0b0.
- Combine Bisquick, milk and 1/2 can onions.
- Drop by spoonfuls to form biscuits on top.
- Bake, uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes until brown.
- Top with cheese; bake until melted.
