Pepper Lover's Pork Chop Skillet
- 6 bone-in pork chops (2 lb.), 1/2 inch thick Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
- 3 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow), coarsely chopped Target 1 pkg For $2.99 thru 02/06
- 3/4 cup chicken broth, divided
- 1 tub (10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Savory Garlic Cooking Creme
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- Sprinkle chops with black pepper.
- Add 3 chops to large nonstick skillet; cook on medium heat 3 to 4 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Transfer to platter; cover to keep warm.
- Repeat with remaining chops.
- Add peppers and 1/2 cup broth to skillet; cook on medium-high heat 5 min.
- or until peppers are crisp-tender and most of the broth has evaporated.
- Stir in cooking creme, remaining broth and crushed pepper; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
- or until sauce is well blended and heated through.
- Serve sauce over chops.
