Cheesey Chicken With Ham
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 -4 slices cheese (I prefer American or mild Cheddar)
- 2 slices ham
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 3 ounces stovetop chicken flavor stuffing mix, prepared (1/2 box approximately)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Wash the chicken breasts and shake off excess water.
- Cut a large slit in the side of each breast to create a pocket.
- Roll 1 to 2 slices of ham and chicken together and insert in the created pocket.
- Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and place the chicken in the pan.
- Pour the can of Cream of Chicken soup over then breasts, but mostly around the breasts.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Place pan in the oven, watch from time to time so nothing burns.
- Optional: 12 to 15 min before the chicken is done, push the chicken pieces to the edges and pour enough stuffing mix, while stirring, to create a very thick liquid.
- (Do not pull in any soup that is not already in the middle.).
- Finish cooking and then enjoy!
