Cranberry Raspberry Freeze

  1. Place the raspberries in a fine mesh sieve.
  2. Set over a large glass measure or pitcher.
  3. Pour the boiling water over the raspberries.
  4. Using the back of a spoon, press the berries to release the juices.
  5. When all juice is released, discard the berry pulp.
  6. Cover the juice and chill.
  7. In a blender combine the cranberry and raspberry juices.
  8. (this is the time to add vodka if you wish) With the blender running, add the ice cubes on at a time through the hole in the lid of the blender.
  9. Blend until slushy.
  10. Transfer the mixture to a pitcher.
  11. Slowly add the Sprite to the slush.
  12. Stir gently.
  13. Serve over additional ice cubes and garnish with lemon/lime slices if you like.
  14. ENJOY!
