Juicy Lucy
- 400 grams ground beef
- 2 clove garlic
- 4 slice bacon
- dash barbecue sauce
- slice mozarella
- dash salt and pepper
- 2 hambuger buns
- Crush the garlic cloves and dice the bacon into small pieces.
- In a large bowl add the ground beef, diced bacon, garlic, bbq sauce, salt and pepper.
- Mix well with your hands and create a ball.
- If the mixture is too runny add a beaten egg and mix again.
- On a clean surface take the mixture and form into patties.
- Make 4 patties.
- On one of the patties put a slice of mozarella.
- Put another patty on the patty with mozarella and mould it into one patty.
- Repeat for the other patty.
- Once molded, heat the grill or frying pan and add vegetable oil.
- When the oil is hot add the patties.
- Cook until centre is not raw and the cheese is melted, for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the burger buns in half and butter them.
- Toast them on the grill.
- When they are lightly toasted and the patties are cooked add ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard to the burger bun and place the patty on the bun.
- Serve with chips or wedges.
