Chicken with Salted Gravy in the Microwave
- 400 grams Chicken thigh meat
- 1 Leeks (the white part)
- 1 Green onion or scallion (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp each Sake and katakuriko
- 50 ml Water or hot water
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 heaping teaspoon Weipa
- 1 tsp Honey
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add with the ingredients.
- Rub the bag well to let the flavors penetrate.
- Slice the leek thinly on the diagonal.
- Cut up the thin green onion finely.
- Line the chicken pieces in a large or deep heatproof dish and nestle the leek in between the chicken.
- Combine the ingredients in a separate container.
- Just before you cook the chicken in the microwave, add the combined ingredients and cover the container loosely with plastic wrap.
- Microwave for 7 minutes at 600 W.
- Add the chopped green onion as soon as it's cooked, and it's done.
