Choc-Orange Philly Snails
- 2 1/4 cups self raising flour
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar
- pinch of salt
- 30g butter
- 1 cup milk
- 125g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese
- 2 TERRY'S* Chocolate Orange bars, finely chopped
- Icing
- 1/2 cup jam ( marmalade or apricot)
- 1 tablespoon water
- Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
- Rub in butter.
- Stir in enough milk to form a sticky dough.
- Knead on a lightly floured board until smooth.
- Roll dough into a 17 x 30cm rectangle, spread with Philly* and sprinkle with chocolate.
- Roll up on the longest side, like a Swiss roll, to form a sausage.
- Slice roll into 3 cm slices and place on lined baking trays.
- Bake at 200C for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with glaze.
- GLAZE: Combine jam and water in a small saucepan until heated through.
