Super Simple & Fast Emerald (French) Green Lentils

  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Add the lentils and marjoram.
  3. If using dried parsley, add now too.
  4. Lower the heat.
  5. Cover loosely and let cook for 20-30 minutes or until tender.
  6. Remove any excess water if the lentils didn't absorb all of it, then put them into a serving bowl.
  7. If using fresh parsley, add now and mix well.
  8. Drizzle a little olive oil evenly into the bowl (about 1 teaspoon or so, maybe a little less) and mix well.
  9. Serve, salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy.
